The intervention must fulfill three basic requirements, as a direct consequence
of its own urban implantation and its topographic singularity: to appear
as the articulating element which will be capable of rearranging and giving
significance to the urban fabric surrounding it; to become the identifying
landmark of a context which is lacking in this type of sign; and lastly,
to recover its condition of usable autonomous space, overcoming the possible
character of mere transit space which could be understood from the necessary
physical permeability it must offer its most immediate surroundings.
